In order to interchange data between servers, we need to sync them.
How can we sync them?
Servers are busy businessmen, they deploy web services to handle and process requests, just like call centers of telecom companies.
What next, how do they send or receive data?
Call centers have chat processes, email processes, or call processes to handle requests, similar way, web services have API methods to handle data requests.
Now, what is the medium to send or receive data?
Call centers have laguages, english, french, german, japanese....etc as a medium to communicate requests. In a same way, API uses JSON language to communicate requests between servers.
Conceptual understanding is fine.
What are the practical steps to utilize Marketo resources by using API?
Step1) Create API role and user
Step 2) Create custom service in launchpoint
Step 3) Get access token from launch point service.
Step 4) Get base URL from web services (Rest API)
Step 5) Refer Marketo end point reference docs for resources locations
Step 6) USE this URL template to access data from Marketo APIs
Base URL: https://123-RTH-050.mktorest.com/
Resource link: rest/v1/leads.json
Query string: ?access_token=2cd438b7-c57f-4b00-8d7c-b5dbe8e5c670:ab
